Review + Unbagging | Ipsy December 2015

It's that time again! We're gonna show you our December Ipsy glam bag and discuss whether the products received are worth it. Because, what's the point of watching an unboxing if you never hear about the products again, am I right?

I am.

Recently, I've been going in to my Ipsy account and actually reviewing the products I received and it seems to be paying off. This month, three out of the five products I received were pretty damn good. So I figured, if I'm gonna review them on the website, why not include that information in my Ipsy videos as well.

It seems like you guys agree because you said so much on last month's video. That's why we're gonna keep this up until I get tired of ipsy and move on to another subscription service.

While we're on that topic, any other makeup subscription services you think I should check out?

For all of you out there who are new to this blog or the ipsy thing -- here's the low down:
  • You can join Ipsy for $10 (+ tax) per month. Every month you get five (5) personalized beauty samples. They typically include at least one full-size product and the rest of the items are deluxe samples. In other words, you get a lot more than $10 worth of products.
  • You can get additional discounts using Ipsy discount codes if you decide to buy full-sized versions of the products you received.
  • You can earn points by reviewing the products you receive or through referrals and you can use those points to add additional items to your glam bag.
  • Also -- just as an aside -- I pay for my subscription out of pocket, so these posts are not sponsored nor are the items press samples.

For a full list of the products I received (including pricing and links) click here and scroll down to the information box -- everything is laid out for you all neat and tidy there.

Ipsy Unbagging & Review | November 2015

Ipsy November 2015 unbagging & review, @girlythingsby_e

Hey everyone! It's Ipsy bag time again. I got my bag a week ago and got super busy at work so I didn't get a chance to film the unbagging before I started playing around with everything in my bag (I just couldn't wait, you guys get it, right?). So instead of filming just a regular old unbagging, I'm coming at you with a review of my November Ipsy bag.

I've been using the products for a week, so I feel like I can at least give you a little overview of how I felt about each item I received. This way you get more than just a peek at what's inside. What do you guys think of this format instead? Do you want to hear how the products perform? Or, nah, you just want to see what's inside? Comment below and let me know.

For all of you out there on the interwebs who are new to the ipsy thing -- here's the low down:
  • You can join Ipsy for $10 (+ tax) per month. Every month you get five (5) personalized beauty samples. They typically include at least one full-size product and the rest of the items are deluxe samples (usually travel sized). In other words, you get a lot more than $10 worth of products.
  • You can get additional discounts using Ipsy discount codes if you decide to buy full-sized versions of the products you received.
  • You can earn points by reviewing the products you receive or through referrals and you can use those points to add additional items to your glam bag (as you'll see in this month's video)
  • Also -- just as an aside -- I pay for my subscription out of pocket, so these posts are not sponsored nor are the items press samples.
Now you can consider yourself fully informed. Onward with the video!

Ipsy Unboxing (Unbagging) | September 2015

YAY!!! My September ipsy bag finally made it! It was a little behind this month because I forgot to update my credit card info (oops!) and they had to send me a little email to remind me that they wouldn't send the bag if I didn't pay for it. Ha!

Regardless, I'm sticking to my promises and uploading, no matter how late in the month it gets. Because, consistency.

For anyone new to Ipsy here's the low down:
  • You can join Ipsy for $10 (+ tax) per month. Every month you get five (5) personalized beauty samples. They typically include at least one full-size product and the rest of the items are deluxe samples (usually travel sized). In other words, you get a lot more than $10 worth of products.

  • Also -- just as an aside -- I pay for my subscription out of pocket, so these posts are not sponsored nor are the items press samples.
Now, on to the good stuff -- my video!

Unboxing: Ipsy Glam Bag August 2015

Alright guys, I'm keeping my promise from last month. I filmed my Ipsy unbagging for August on time! I'm so proud of myself. I actually filmed within days of it arriving in the mail.

Help me stick to it next month with a little bit of comment encouragement. Tell me what you think of the products I received. If you're an Ipsy member, tell me what you thought of the items you received this month. Heck, just leave a comment about anything related to this month's Ipsy glam bag.

If I know you like these types of posts, I'll keep them up!

OK, before we get into video watching -- a little info about Ipsy:
  • I pay for my Ipsy subscription out of pocket. That means this video is not sponsored and the items received were not press samples.
  • You too can join Ipsy and get your own little monthly beauty surprise. For $10 (+ tax)/month you get five (5) personalized beauty samples. They typically include at least one full-size product and the samples received are deluxe size (typically travel size actually). What does that mean? You get more than $10 worth of product and the samples are big enough to get several uses out of each product (so you know whether or not it works for you).

Unboxing: Ipsy Glam Bag July

Hello everyone! I've been lazy about posting lately. Consistency seems to be my Achilles heel. I vow to do better, but then I just go back to my evil ways. I'm working on this.

But, I'm back again. So let's not dwell on the past and enjoy the right now. Let's dive in to see what I got in my July Ipsy Glam Bag -- because getting a beauty surprise in the mail for $10/month is fun. You know you love it.

Oh, let's get little disclaimers out of the way too:

  • I pay for my Ipsy subscription out of pocket. That means this video is not sponsored and the items received were not press samples.
  • You too can join Ipsy and get your own little monthly beauty surprise. For $10 (+ tax)/month you get five (5) personalized beauty samples. You get more than $10 worth of product and the samples are big enough to get several uses out of each product (so you know whether or not it works for you).
Alright, now we can carry on with the fun stuff. Enjoy!

April Ipsy Glam Bag "Unboxing"

Just a fun little Ipsy Glam Bag "unboxing" to entertain you all today. It's my second bag and so far I've been happy with the items I've received.

If you don't know about Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription where you sign up*,  fill out a beauty quiz and receive full-size and deluxe-sized beauty products for $10 + tax each month. It's a great way to discover new brands and products without breaking the bank. The samples are usually pretty generous so you get multiple uses out of them and it's always pretty awesome when you get several full-sized items in one month. Typically you get at least one full-sized item per month. Not bad for $10!

Check out my video to see what was inside my glam bag this month!

Are you an Ipsy member? What was your favorite item from this month's bag (yours or mine, whichever you please)?
