Discounts: Urban Decay Friends & Family Discount

Attention makeup mavens! I can hardly contain my excitement. In celebration of reaching 6,000 fans on Facebook, Urban Decay (UD) is extending a 30 percent friends and family discount on your entire purchase from today through 11/20/2009 (Coupon code: FNFW1). If you have never heard of them, go to your local Sephora or ULTA and swatch their eyeshadows. They. Are. Incredible. Pigmented, fun, and all-around awesome. If you have never used any of their products, now is your chance to try them out at a discounted price. Fair warning: you will be hooked. Not sure where to start? May I suggest the Eyeshadow Primer Potion, their eyeshadows (in any color that suits your fancy, they are unlikely to disappoint), and their 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils (if you're shy about color, go for the duo which includes black and brown).

Want your eyeshadows to last all day, stay crease free, and be as bright and vibrant on your eyes as they are in the pot? Eyeshadow primer to the rescue! Personally, I plan to get some bang for my buck and purchase one of the eyeshadow palettes that include a full-sized primer potion. Yes, that's right, full sized. Plus, I can play with a few of UD's fabulous eyeshadows without spending a fortune (I have trouble selecting only one or two). I think I'll be purchasing the Sustainable Shadow Palette w/ Primer Potion. The colors look awesome. Other palettes that get good reviews: the Book of Shadows Vol. II (sixteen eyeshadows, 8 exclusive to the palette, two glide-on eye pencils, and a small sized primer potion) and Eyeshadow Ammo Shadow Box (10 bestseller eyeshadows, and it also comes in a set with a full-sized primer potion).

Other UD products I'm kind of curious about:
Now, don't forget, become a fan of Uruban Decay Cosmetics on Facebook, and follow them on Twitter @UrbanDecay411 for other great updates.

Now, I'm off to get my make up. Why are you still here? Go get your new makeup and let me know what you want to get!

Update:  In case you're teetering between two UD palettes and just can't decide, here's a little fact that will help you justify buying them both! (Ooh, I love it when that happens!) Ready? Here it is: No two UD palettes have overlapping colors. So that means more color fun for you! ::happy dance::

Update: Made my UD Friends and Family purchase and got the following:
I saved a little over $21!!!

Now, I realized after I made the purchase that both the palette and the Best of Urban set have the half baked eyeshadow. I'm still trying to decide what to do with the extra one once it arrives. It could end up as a stocking stuffer for one of my lucky lady friends, or it could turn into a holiday giveaway contest. Stay tuned, and tell your friends!
