Manicure Monday: Suspiria

It's manicure time and I'm happy to share Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Suspiria with you. If you loved Zoya Charisma, but prefer creme shiny finishes to matte finishes, Suspiria is an awesome alternative. It's the exact same bright pink-purple hue (I like to think of this a magenta), but in a gorgeous shiny creme finish (my favorite!).

I LOVE this color. I loved it in Charisma and I love it in Suspiria. If I find it in a drugstore-priced alternative, you can be sure I'll buy it and share it. That's how much I love this color. I can't get enough of it. It's absolutely perfect for spring and summer. It's bright and beautiful. I don't even care that it's technically still winter. I'm wearing it! It's bright, but the color isn't so out there that I think you could pull it off for nearly any situation. Perhaps it's not perfect for a super serious event/situation, but I think paired with the right serious outfit, you might still be able to pull it off.

I also really like the consistency of this polish. It's a bit thinner than my other OCC polishes, but it's still quite opaque, which I like. It glides on to my nail smoothly and leave behind a beautiful hue. You're looking at two coats in the photo, which gives the perfect color pay off.

You can buy OCC nail lacquers most easily online. I'm not sure if they are carried at any specific retailers. I'm kind of hoping Sephora will start to carry them, since they started carrying the lip tars. A girl can dream, right?

What do you think of this color? Are you familiar with any drugstore dupes for it? I'm on the hunt!
