Hello!! Great news for those of you who love Benefit cosmetics. They are offering free shipping* on their Web site through 11:59 PST on 11/30/2009 (Code: CYBERMON). If you read my post about the creaseless cream eyeshadows/liners, you know I'm over the moon with this product. You'll also know that they are discontinuing the color Bunny Hop. Well, I went into Macy's today to return a pair of boots after I found a much better deal at Bass (but I digress), and stopped by the Benefit counter to see if I could see Bunny Hop in person, and check and see if by chance it would also be on sale at the makeup counter since it's being discontinued. Well, they did have it, and it's gorgeous. It's a beautiful light shimmery pink. It actually looks just like the picture of it online (sometimes you see swatch pictures online and when you get the color, it's just doesn't match up as well). In fact, I went straight to it before looking over to see if it was the right color. But, the Benefit cosmetics girl had no clue that the color was being discontinued, and so it was regularly priced at $19. I didn't get it. I thought, let me check how much shipping is first. It's not instant gratification, but if it saves me some cash then it's OK, and to my surprise it's a free shipping weekend. So, if you liked that color or love anything else Benefit that they might not have or be out of at your local store, now is the time to take advantage of this fabulous offer. Also, before you go to your local department store or Sephora or ULTA, check out the Benefit site, you never know if anything you might like or want is on the discontinued list, and therefore discounted online. Why pay more if you don't have to?
